We just watched Spaceballs. We were wondering whether it referenced anything specifically from Return of the Jedi, but couldn't think of anything for a few minutes. Until someone pointed out that Jabba comes from Jedi, of course. The special editions have successfully changed our perception of the original film, it turns out.
