Software patent bill thrown out (BBC). Vote was 648 to 14! This is a fantastic result. Now, will this be the end of the matter?

Nah. And we shall doubtless have to rely again on the Polish delegates to the agriculture and fisheries committee at some point.

A fantastic result. I suspect that the big companies will try again, but democracy has worked this time, lets hope it continues to work.
