There is a plan to go and see Persepolis at the Curzon Soho (on Shaftesbury Avenue near Dean Street) on Thursday at 19:10. Want to join us?
Saw Iron Man on Monday. It was magnificient - and that rare thing - a near uniformly critically-praised film which also took a huge opening weekend. And it wasn't just a special effects vehicle. There was acting and wit and stuff. Probably going to see it again at some point. Marvel Studios - this is the first film Marvel have made themselves - will be delighted - and have already set a date for a sequel (April 2010), along with dates for Thor (June 2010), Cap (May 2011) and Avengers (July 2011) movies.

Not a "turn off your brain" big dumb blockbuster experience and not afraid to laugh at itself without going overboard and turning into a parody
Hopefully Sams career will be rescued from the "i am the guy who is hired to say motherf**ker and nigger a lot in films" trough it's currently in ( i assume you stayed through the 15 minutes of credits (may be a slight exaggeration but only slight) for the sequel setup scene).
Problem with a Thor movie is trying to imagine how they can do it without making it into the superhero equivalent of 300 and its gay under er over tones though.
