I have a bad mind. My first thought was something wrong ...

The metal plates fell off mine, which made me unhappy. They now sit lonely and unworn in my cloakroom.

i though that by defintion all rocks were in fact millions of years old?
these new ones must be special ;)

Is Rocks a brand of shoe?

*puzzled*

[identity profile] squirmelia.livejournal.com 2005-02-19 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Are they antlers on the shoes?

I bought new shoes today too!

[identity profile] squirmelia.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 11:16 am (UTC)(link)
They look like football boots without the stripes! I am not fond of them, but well, they're vegetarian, will keep the rain off, and seem comfortable enough. I do not like shoe shopping at all.

[identity profile] abigailb.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
Ah.

I need to decide what shoes I am going to wear with my Japanese ghost costume. I don't think any of the ones I have at the moment will be good.

hey cool. not seen those before.
kinda like fetish cowboy boots.
nice.

Life is but a series of pairs of shoes....

Shall i break out the glow-sticks in celebration?

:)

[identity profile] abigailb.livejournal.com 2005-02-19 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)

I did try the taller ones first, but I is too fat (or their sizes are insane). If only they did them in size 9s!

[identity profile] tankgirlinblack.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't think of that when I bought my ones. I tried the ankle ones on in a shop in town then ordered the knee highs off 'tinternet. Considering how all size freindly the flat boots are, I was shocked to find out you need to be a skinny petite size 10 to fit in them properly.

On a good day I can JUST get them on, but I had to loose weight after xmas for them to fit me again *worried* :-(

[identity profile] abigailb.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 07:56 am (UTC)(link)
Got mine from a place in Birmingham that has a pretty good range, so was able to try them on. (why is it that Birmingham and London are both an hour away by train but a return to Birmingham is a quarter of the price).

Tall boots for women always assume that the wearer has no calf muscles. It's probably nothing to do with being fat.

[identity profile] abigailb.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, if I have calf muscles, I'm not sure how. But yes. :)

[identity profile] foibey.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
Ooh, pointy

[identity profile] firinel.livejournal.com 2005-02-20 03:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Those are very frightening, indeed.

I like http://www.rivithead.com/product_info.php/products_id/207 that sort, but haven't not been able to find something that is a) vegetarian and b) able to accomidate my scary calf muscles.
