I've never worked anywhere where people get sent home! As far as my employers seem to be concerned, if you've come in, you've come in.

You can say you need to _go_ home, but otherwise too bad.

Actually, my boss did call me to ask me if I thought I should be in after my diabetic farce on Thursday but as soon as I said yes, that was it. :)

Hope you fell better soon - there are some really shitty colds around at the moment - mine's at 3 weeks and only just being downgraded from hurrican strength cold to tropical storm, if you see what I mean. ;)
