And I'm not sure about work-safeness. We don't have an explicit bar against unnatural hair colours, but I don't want to be the reason they bring one in, either.
when I had my pink mohican I went job hunting. My very posh suit and glowing CV didn't stop the arogant lady at Office Angels told me 'I don't think you'd understand the office invironment' ??!!
Oh, and when I had purple hair (with my bosses supossed permission), I worked at a news-agents, when I left my boss told me he was happy cos I'd been scaring the customers!!! As far as I knew all the old ladies loved me, and the only person who didn't lke me was the mental patient who'd roll on the floor screaming when I told him 2p wouldn't buy magazines and sweets. >:-(
I miss my silly hair cuts and colours, but a sensible job requires semi natural hair. Reds can be got away with quite easily though.
