Doctor Who

hmm. not my favourite episode so far, thought the way they dealt with the aliens far too cheesy. some good moments though, especially the ending with mickey and the doctor. very much a "bottle show".

next week's looks very ooh.

There seems to have been some lack of continuity with the way the aliens moved so clumsily and yet from a distance could run very fast and with grace...amazing.Hmmm

Yeah it was a little cheesy, still enjoyed it but definitely looking forward to next weeks.....bring on the Daleks :o)

Yes, suffering in the transitions between "there's a human in this suit", and "this is a fluid CGI that doesn't have to worry about gravity".

The core concepts are good, but screenplay is dripping with fromage. I know Locum Who is supposed to be 'quaintly Britishly crap', and the BBC are not producing the show in an entirely polished manner, but some of the last two eps had me cringing on behalf of the BBC, and I unlatched my suspension of disbelief quite a few times, to protect my sanity and patience.

I'd like more concepts, more character, more story arc, less US-style presentation, more 'unseen' mysteries. I thought the 'sun's end' idea would have been eye-opening for some people who didn't think about that kind of thing - I liked 'Sliders' for its ideas, but sadly only caught a few eps of that.
