morwenso. saw the flat on Duke Street (pretty much where the pin is, on the northern corner of Mill Street and Duke Street). was a bit more than my budget, and not worth it - flat was bit cramped (if it had been a 1 bedroom instead of 2 bedroom in same space, it would have been better), also too close to the main road, hence too noisy.
then asked if they had any other flats I would be interested in, and they had one at Alexandra House on Rutland Street. This building is presently a building site - I had to go past works on a courtyard to get to the flat, which was itself unfinished. Definitely not until this is finished. Pondering looking at the East Street flat (the very first I looked at) again, since that seems to be the best so far.
