Feb. 5th, 2005 08:21 pmwell, there seems to be a party! yay.
no sign of the oxford people yet (or text) - will they arrive before we are planning to catch the bus into town? find out in our next exciting episode!
update:
the oxford people have set out from oxford! woo. this makes our plan to catch the 9.50 bus for electrotribe rather unlikely though, but we will definitely still get to electrotribe!

Feb. 5th, 2005 11:12 amIt appears the first people will be getting here around fourish hopefully. We will adjourn some hours later to Electrotribe. Everyone on the entire planet is invited.
Car directions -
Use your favourite webrouting service. Be careful of the evil one-way system.
Bus directions -
You want the number 52 bus to Scraptoft from Leicester city centre. The bus stop for this is on Humberstone Gate, outside the Sainsbury's (on the left side of Humberstone Gate as you walk east from the Clock Tower).
You want to get off at the terminus of the bus - after it enters Scraptoft, it turns left, goes down a hill, passes some shops, turns right, and then that bus stop there, outside the ex-campus. Get off here, go down the hill, cross the road at the evil corner, and then poke through the gap in the hedge to the service road. Number 8.
If you get lost, phone me.

mandatory party!
Feb. 3rd, 2005 07:17 pmBingo and Serriadh from the mud (or really, Gloucester and Suffolk) have agreed to come.
This means there will be a party, Saturday afternoon, at my house in Leicester.
The plan is to get riotously drunk. If I have the right cables I may set my computer up as a jukebox again, which was fun the last time I did it. Afterwards, we will be going to the last Electrotribe afterwards, at about tennish, to get even more drunk (electrotribe is the downstairs. there is also an upstairs with more straightforward rock music, and middlestairs which has quiet music and pool and table football).
There will be plenty of crash space for visitors (2 spare beds, plus lots of floor). My address is here, friends-locked.
Attendance, (or, optionally, a good excuse) is mandatory.

house party!
Feb. 3rd, 2005 11:08 amMy parents are away for the weekend. Therefore, there may be a party. Features may include loud music, alcohol, destruction of ornaments, food, more alcohol, and whatever people really want to do. There is an abundance of sleeping space.
Should there be a party?
Update: The party will be in Leicester.
Update: There will be no party probably. People are still welcome to come round. However, there will be a flatwarming party in the next year! That will be much better.
