morwenI watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer today. The movie. Entertainingly bad. Not sure how much Whedon really wrote - I know the producers/directors whoever changed the ending totally. There were a few bits that had Whedonesque wit, but thought they were few and far between.
So, now all I need to do is find a copy of the TV pilot floating around which has a different Willow, and I'm finished.

It's rather... um... bad.
Not quite in the laughable way. Or at least the version I saw was a very very rough mockup. SO BAD! And yes, Willow was different, but I really do prefer Alyson Hannigan! The original was much plainer, and slightly plumper if I remember correctly (I saw it a few years back). It made Cordelia's comments about how Willow looked and dressed actually seem reasonable.
Anywho, unless you really want a world of wincing pain (or just a world full of shrimp) I'd avoid it.
