Tough choice. The radio serie, I would have to say, just because of it's medium although it's far from perfect and misses out lots of good gags that got added later. Hearing the new adaptions was wonderful.
You can get scripts - see series 1 and 2 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0330419579/qid=1124104928/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/026-2982547-3299640) and the new series 3 to 5 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0330435108/ref=pd_nfy_fr_gw_nr_1/026-2982547-3299640).
You may need to shift-refresh due to caching. Here is the diff (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Hitchhiker%27s_Guide_to_the_Galaxy_cultural_references&diff=21058408&oldid=20360871) to show me adding it ;)
No idea. Kate's tools says I have just under 24,000 edits to the article namespace. I must have started hundreds of article, but have only done major work on less.
It's not really a lottery - just take an article, bring it up to Featured Article standards (so that it is comprehensive and references and has free images; which is actually really tough, but doable), and nominate it, and then it will appear there at some point
It's not hard, it's just shitloads of work. I've had four features and several failed features. Two have been front-paged, I requested one for the front page in September and someone else requested the other one for the front page in September (10th or 11th).
I read that the other day. Very comprehensive article and my girlf and I had lots of squeeeing at it.
I succumbed to wikipedia temptation the other day as something to do while researching evil vestibular dysfunction. Now all I need to do is get my head round syntax, style and stuff - oh and improve my writing skillz.
