morwenback from flat again. have decided what sort of items I am going to buy tomorrow. need to get up early to beat the rush.
the water works (having found the stopcock for it). I have discovered that the fancy mechnical plug thingy on the bathroom sink doesn't work because it isn't attached properly.
the electricity also works. i have a mysterious light switch in the living room that appears to do nothing. phone socket not connected to anything, will sort this out on monday. can't figure out how to access my post yet, either.
so far my flat has a chair, a kettle, a radio, a bin and a loo roll.
