We arrived at this house (rented) to find a pair of curtains split to cover 2 windows. We managed to get a pair of old curtains out of my mother (she lined them for us and everything) and I had a single large lizard curtain which we use for the computer room (yes it is called that).
I find it strange that curtains cause so many problems when moving house. We ended up spending rather a large ammount on blackout/insulated liners for our flat, 'cause the main sitting room window is HUGE and not double glazed, and had almost see-through thin curtains. Our rental agents are nice, but don't seem very organised, sorting it out ourselves seemed the best way.
Oh, I shall try to make it to your house warming, knackeredness from new job depending.
Would be good to see you there. Could you let Emma know the details too - I bumped into her on train back from reading and said I'd invite her, but don't have any contact details.

Do you have no coverings on any of the windows?
