I've decided what I'm going to do in 2051.

I am going to visit the world exposition that year. It will be held in a temporary structure made of glass or preferably diamond in Hyde Park that has been assembled by NANOBOTS and one of the primary industrial marvels will include said nanobots.

Dear future, please do not disappoint me again. I'm still bitter about the hovercars.

Edited: I did some digging this morning and apparently bidding for Expo 2020 will be from 2011-2014. So if this pattern follows, we need to be preparing the Great Exhibition 2 bid for Expo 2051 in the early 2040s. Remind me again in 30 years, please?

She has a ROBOT that vacuums and a ROBOT that bakes bread, and yet she complains. Tsk.
Still, awesome plan!

But the vacuum robot knocks things over unless I am very careful preparing the room, and the baking robot, it doesn't even tell me when I have forgotten to set it up right, and instead happily bakes gloop. The future isn't what it was supposed to be.

The future won't work perfectly either. Will be fascinating to see what the buggy nanobots do, right?
