morwenHouse-purchasing continues, slowly. I have had various pieces of paper sent to me, which I have been signing, sometimes getting witnessed, and sending back. These include in the last few days the mortgage deed, the Agreement and the land registry deed thingy. Other pieces of paper have also been sent to me, including one bearing the news that there is a restrictive covenant on the land that prohibits me from opening a pub or otherwise selling alcohol (or rather beers, wines and spirits) on it. So mead and cider should be fine, then?
I need to give 2 months notice on my flat (and the appropriate day is the 7th of the month), and I don't think I'm in a position to do it yet this week. Should be able to do it for next month, giving me a vacation date of January 6th.
