I am not reading them as they are sure to contain spoilers! I enjoyed the series 1 and 2, but have only managed to watch up to about episode 2 or 3 on the 3rd series, as I got a bit bored of it. Does it improve?

A bit. It never quite gets the momentum it had before.

I'm in about the same place, though planning to carry on when I've got time anyway, but all the more so since seeing your proposed title (and thereby remembering the trailer) for the next one.
