Been to look at planning exhibition re: the David Wilson homes development that is going to take place on the former Scraptoft campus of DMU. Looks quite reasonable, the concerns about access have been taken into account (although I'll bet they end up widening Covert Lane further).

Some local people oppose the re-development at all, but we do have a housing shortage, and this is a brownfield site, so...

We still have 3 bus/hour daytime, 2 bus/hour weekends and sats, don't see that rising much, since they are mostly empty. Might mean we get to keep them in the long-term though, and the post office/co-op/newsagents.
