I've designed what I hope to be the most offensive flag ever

(the elements are the flag of Nazi Germany, the flag of the United Kingdom, the flag of the Soviet Union, and the former flag of the US state of Georgia, which contains the Confederate Battle Flag).

Any ideas how I can make it even more offensive? I think I could make a batch of these up and sell these to limey redneck communist nazis. The first version doesn't have the United Kingdom flag element, and I think works better as a flag.

Update: Right, I've had a go at sticking thirteen red-and-white stripes on it.

I note that this flag should also offend vexillologists, (particularly the way the blue and red touch).

the flags are, btw, licenced under the GFDL

Offensive to who? You could add a picture of Michael Winner sodomizing a black Jesus and inscribe 'Babylon 5's a big pile of crap' across it. And add the Nike swoosh here and there.

Then set fire to it, I guess.

Wasn't aware of anyone who objected to the general principle of flag burning rather than the specific burning of their flag.
Though I suppose it would offend people who objected to people waving burning things about in public.

Offensive to Daily Mail readers.

Trying to limit it to being based or parodying other flags. ;)

Other potential for offensive flags: take the Saudi flag and produce a duplicate that replaces the arabic text with arabic text that reads "shai'tan al-qadhulhu".

What does that mean, then?

Like. Nice to see work keeping you busy :)

I'm sort-of tempted to crop it and stick half of it at the top of my mountain on Second Life.

You could include the American flag.

Add one star for Iraq, one for Afghanistan, one for the UK, oh just add the full 192.
http://geography.about.com/cs/countries/a/numbercountries.htm

One flag to rule them all and in the darkness serve them McDonalds.
Stars in one corner (perhaps taking up one side), other flags on the other side? no they should be joined, otherwise you get a whole opposing symbolism thing going on.

Put the flag you have in the top left and overlay the stars?

It needs the red-and-white checquer of the wartime Ustasha and their Croatian successors in militant Christian massacre.

A stars-and-stripes with selected stars replaced by interlinked ankh (male or female) symbols for the gay marriage states would be nice, but far more offensive if the starting point were the 'lone star' banner of Texas.

Finally, it needs pigs. I like pigs.

Maybe something christian?

It depends on who we are trying to offend as offensiveness will depend on cultural background, nationality blah blah blah.

This is quiote good at offending Brits as it stands. Some Americans would also be offended by the confederate swastika and the hammer and sickle but wouldn't find the union flag imagery interesting.

A Guardian reader would probably find all of it offensive. They may find the Union flag offensive in itself. A Daily Mail reader may find the Union flag and the swastika in the same flag but may not get the rest.

If we want to offend Americans in particularly then we need to attack the state religions of Christianity and America. I imagine any subversion of the current flag would do the latter. Stars made out of upside-down crosses?

As a Welshman I certainly find the Union Jack offensive, that should cover the Scots too, now about the Irish flat to upset the unionists in NI? ;)

Turn it upside down.

The swastika on the red stripes reminds me of the Fuck Bush US flag (even though they are different).
